With experience in virtually every real estate sector, beginning in late 2017 we turned our attention “back to our roots” and embarked on an aggressive development program focused on “active adult”/age-restricted (senior) housing.


Our involvement with senior housing began in 1996, and since then we have developed assisted living, memory care, and “Congregate”/ Independent housing properties.  We have now determined, for numerous reasons, that the “active” adult market (primarily made up of “go-goers” who are in their early 60’s+), which is sometimes referred to as the “Silver Tsunami,” is going to ultimately become a national crisis. 


  1. One of the greatest opportunities in real estate, with opportunistic market growth and unstoppable, solid, and proven demographics – all of which will continue for at least two more decades;

  2. Both immediate and long-term business opportunity, with demand outstripping supply, particularly in the rental category;

  3. The least entrepreneurial and institutional competition and risk for selective product offerings;

  4. The fewest governmental regulations (such as certificates of need, staffing requirements, etc.) of any senior product type;

  5. For “The Starlite” - a simple and proven product with little competition – quality rentals (aka “leased homes”) that compare favorably to mid-priced for-sale homes; and



 “The Starlite” - market rate "leased home" communities which are aimed at those who don’t wish to purchase and maintain a home and who don’t wish to live in a conventional apartment property, yet who wish to live in a community of like-minded people.  The Starlite communities will bring a new level of neighborhood, community, amenities, design, consumer choices, personalized services, and life enrichment that is unmatched in this booming market.
